hey- ever seen The Core? in that movie the hacker dude has a "purge" keystroke on his computer- i know that it's a movie and all, but theoretically that means there's a program out there that'll do that. anyone know what it would be?

Norton cleansweep is very integrated with windows and will do a cutom number of wipes with random data, 0x000000 0xfffffff and any custom data you'd like... I guess windows could be the problem for some... oh, and you have to buy norton utilities to get it. At $40-70 I guess It's a bit mutch. (unless you find other means of 'aquiring' it.)
Use virus just to clean a hard drive?? Gezz.... There are litterally hundreds of programs to use that'll clean and free up some space on your HD. All you gotta do is look for them http://www.google.comQuote:

Suppose, you have some sensitive or private files upon your computer. And in a certain case u might need to wipe it out as quickly as possible with a floppy boot disk. What would be the best program or a certain virus to do something like this?

Sounds like your trying to hide your collection of kiddie porn... you could just install something like evidence eliminator or clean sweap anyways like I said there are alot of cleaners out there... & then make a shortcut to that program for easy & quick access... but no matter what you do it still takes a little bit of time to get rid of/dig up files and overwriten data on your HD.
