It's not only doing stupid things that can kill you when drunk. Drinking too much can be just as bed. A buddy of mine had an operation as a child and a side effect is that it is nearly impossible for him to vomit. He was at Rugby initiation first year and by the time he got home someone decided to call the ambulance. When he got to the hospital, they measured his blood-alcohol level at 0.52 (legal is 0.08). He had blood in his alcohol. He actually legally died that night, but they luckily they were able to bring him back. His cause of death on his toe tag, overhazing. Don't do stupid stuff, and don't drink too much either.

Sorry to hear about your friend Noia.Alcohol is one of the most wide spread disaster causes in the world I think and yet people always find a way to talk their way around it when confronted about this very sensitive issue. My condolences once again to family and friends left behind.

i stopped drinking like a year ago, i dont miss that hang over feeling, i learned alot about this kinda stuff, If any of you know the band Acid Bath, The bass player was killed along with his Mom and Dad in a car accident when a drunk driver hit them, his little brother was in the car to but survived, he was put in icu for a coule days, the driver was a repeat drunk driver and unharmed.....i hope hes ****ing rotting in prison.
sorry to hear about all of your stories, one thing i can say, i stopped drinking yes but when i did, i never drove unless i was moving a vehicle out of the way of another in the parking spot, i was more responcible than people actually old enough to drink.

I had an uncle who was a realy bad alcaholic. He'd been in and out of rehab god only knows how many times. He got drunk at home one night and fell asleep in a chair with a lit cigarette. He lived in an apartment building he and 3 other people lost their lives that night not to mention the poeple who lost their homes. My parents did their best to keep him away from me and my brother when we were growing up but just seeing that was enough to make me not much of a drinker. Ill have a beer everyonce in a while or something like that but verry rarely do i get drunk. To all the folks who have posted here about loosing someone to "partying" and to all the people who could have told a similar story but didnt : My heart goes out to each and every one of you.

I am very sorry to hear that, This thread just reminded me about my uncle and aunt both died at the same time in road accident, some years back, it was pretty sad. They only have one son 17 at that time, got alone. Ah man technology is so advance but we can't bring those who dies. It is sad.
