Honestly... OK, This is the story of how the master of gore became the Bastard sys admin from Michigan:
It started December 22nd of 2002, I was reading the BOFH stories and pissing myself laughing while on a Vicodin binge. I had a sore back and a head ache and like 200 750 MG Vicodin ESs. So I took like 4 of em and sat there listening to The Misfits, my fav band, and looking up things online and was totally relaxed.
It was like 12 degrees outside and the heat was on. Now anyone in Michigan knows when its that cold and your that high, relaxing with your fav band playing and reading funny ass stories about computers is just...awesome.
Anway, I was reading and after I was done I looked for more of the BOFH stories and found some. I read those and then I found the BOFH page about the guy that made em and i was like, "hey i could do this, it would be fun".
So I started writing the first story, I thought I'd write one story, and if people liked it, I'd do more, like maybe 5 in total. And if no one liked it Id just stop. Well everyone loved it, ALOT. So that night i wrote the second one. Total time on the Bastard admin #1 and #2 was about 40 minutes tops.
Well after that it was Christmas Eve and I had been awake about 2 days like I am every year. So I started another and also did one for Christmas Day. Which that whole week of Christmas was like totally great, same with Halloween. Many people from AO that know me better know I have a thing for horror movies and stuff and im a HUGE Misfits fan.
So well Halloween is special for me. October is also when i joined AO. So basically, October of 2002 I joined AO. I had a GREAT Halloween:
Me and my cousin went trick or treating, I dressed in usual clothes and covered myself in blood, I mean all over my head and in my hair and my face, and all over me.
And I wore the usual skeleton gloves I wear all the time and did my hair in a Devil Lock. (If you don't know what a Devil Lock is look up The Misfits online and see how they have there hair). Then when we got back to my house we watched horror movies and played Misfits songs.
My cousin brought over his guitar and AMP and I used my new bass and one of the drum machines lying around the house. We played Misfits songs...And started planning the next October. Anyway, I was also in my Operating Systems class at this time and thats so far been my fav class ever. It was relly fun.
And doing homework in that was even cool. When December came and I was writing those stories I was on vacation from school. I had never written stories before but hey, I think im doing damn good for having no writing classes and failing english and ****.
Anyway, I had like the greatest time and also started these stories. Well after Writing number 2 I still had a good responce from people. I dont "think" of a story, I seriously sit own, start typing, and publish them. I dont have to think about it, Im really creative I guess.
And after a while, People from AO started PMing me and asking "Hey, I love your stories, I have an idea I'd like to try if it's ok with you" And I said yea go for it man.
And now theres a couple people from AO all taking part in this story line that was started because im an ******* with a computer and a sence of humor.
I like to think I gave something back and started a posotive influence on people. What I mean by that is, I started writing these and they make people laugh, but also, the other people writing these with me are doing something too. They are using their minds and being creative. Writing stories with me, and we not only make people laugh, but I have had a lot of people say I really brighten the day up for them with my stories.
Also I made it an official "Bastard Wars '03 on AO" So Im also keeping friendly competition going and having fun and giving them something to do trying to keep up with me... Lol, not to sound arrogant...But **** it I am sometimes.
And I do think I am doing something good when I started something that like 5 people are now involved in and something that makes people laugh and have a good time reading. Thats important to me. So to all the people who now write a part as a character in The Bastard Sys Admin From Michigan story line, Thank You for contributing your time and effort to add to a story line i made up and thank You for keeping it fun and awesome to write. You all do a great job and I love writing these, and I love reading yours. It's nice to have great people in a community I belong too. Soooo, Thank You all
