You definitely need to use Ghost 2002 for cloning XP drives that are formatted using NTFS.
Are you simply replacing/upgrading your hard drive or are you moving it to a new box? If you are putting it into a new box, then you might get a blue screen if you do not use the same motherboard in the new box. Micro$oft does have a registry hack for this - let me know if you would like it.

Hummmm . . . . . You have a hardware problem i think ...... Make sure you have the "New HD set to slave1 and have the old one set to Slave2 " Now you need to go into Bios and do alittle configureing ....... Now dont take my word for it ......Alpa
