You got to meat me here on AO, that should be a gift in itself ;)

I think the most eventful thing in moving up in the ranks on AO was getting addict's forum access. It was something cool to work toward and I'm glad I can post in there. We have fun.
That is why am on AO for 10 hours a day. AO is my family, if am down I come to AO, If I am lonely I come to AO, Just name it and that is why I come to AO, because I know that I can talk to you guys/ladys and work out my discomfort. Hopefully AO will stay around forever. This thread didn't do so good, sorry I wish I never posted it.Quote:
I can tell you though that when you get up there in APs and you see some of the messages with your APs... it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like you are doing something good for the community.
Have a nice day!

I just now about have enough points to get two green dots, and I'm 4 posts away from having addict status.
I try to help people out around here when I can, and only when I know what I'm talking about. I'm not strong in the network security and networking areas so I like reading the posts in there to try to learn something.
I think that there are newbies out there who only have one post but know way more than what some of us might know. You might have Senior memer status and thousands of posts, but when it comes to help answer a question I think that it doesn't help a bit. Its all about the experiences you've had with computers.
I also can't wait till I hit Addict status. I've been wanting to read those posts in there for quite a long time.

Well, the poll is missing options. These two presented options are crap. What about learning, addicts forum access, being able to help and be helped, creating a reputation in the security world etc...., but why APs. Some times a comment in the thread is worth a 1000 times more than any AP. Oh god, im so bored.

This has to be the sadest thing I ever heard....Quote:

I'm a student, who doesn't know if he'll beable to afford tuition, therefore I can't afford to have a life... to go out and do things.. I have to save my money.. Also I'm a student who couldn't afford to move home for the summer to be with my friends, and eveyrone from my program went home... so I'm left alone.... I could go out every night and waste my money on booze and drugs (like I used to) but now I need to save that money and the few people that are left are all in the same bout... To say someone has no life because they spend mass amounts of time at their computer is just plain mean.... although I'd imagine it comes from the fact that you are in the same situtation.... or something similar... Most of the computer geeks I know.. there lives consist of getting together for LAN parties.. that's not much fun in my idea.. I like my computer... it allows me to keep in touch with friends that are now spread all over the province without a large phone bill and with the ability to talk to several of them at once. It's not a matter of having no life.. it's a matter of determining what you want to do with your time.... for me.. It's spending my time infront of my computer so I can stay in touch with friends and loved ones... If you'd rather be out drinking beer with "friends" that's fine for you... we all make our own priorities in life... and after all we're the Muli-tasking generation arent' we.. so we can talk to people and still browse AO..
You know I probably wouldn't have commented if you hadn't changed dA's name to "lonley man doodz".... and just because I want to... you spelled lonely wrong.. but sheesh man... seriously.. don't attack someone for a position you were probably once in..
Aww shoot d00dz that aint so bad, i have posted some stuff before that drew a much more dramatic effect. We have probably all posted something or replied in a way in which we wish we could take it back, your no different. :)Quote:

This aint nothing compared to the heat i took on the draper thread. Everyone has a different take on this stuff, personally i'm not offended by your post here, and if someone is then they don't have to respond to it.
Cheer up, its no biggy.:)
As I sayed please stop hurting me, I wish I never posted this. Thankyou HT and Framework for backing me up ;) that was very nice of you guys.

Who the hell gets to decide what a "LIFE" is anyway! Hell, i think posting here on AO constitutes a life, and noone can tell me different.... Now i do have no friends, but a life IMHO, i have. :)
