You must spread your AntiPoints around before giving it to HTRegz again.

i am completly new to everything on this site and hacking and everything of the kind. i want to learn for the sake of learning. but if people like me dont know how to do it how can we learn to. the guide that was provided helped we figure out some of the basics that i never understood before. i bet that any newbie like me would agree too. if we cant do it then what point is there tring it. we wont learn anything but the fact that there are people like u out there that wont help out someone who is really interested in learning it. i bet that when u were a newbie u would have like for people to help u out with some of the first things that u needed to learn. cut us some slack man. not everyone knows how to hack and some of those who dont want to learn. with people like u in the world then there is no way we can learn. and then if no one learns then waht will happen when everyone who does know is gone? there will be no one else to teach poeple. that is the problem with people like u.
I have yet to post on these boards but I've been browsing on them for quite awhile, this thread however is pretty interesting and so I think I'll start posting now. Anyways I see both sides of the argument. On the one hand, yes hacking is supposed to be about learning and half the fun of it is the pride you get of doing it yourself. On the other hand not everyone is born with the ability to hack with the 3l337 h4x0rz straight out of the gates. We n00bs do need help and appreciate when someone like Algaen extends the olive branch, so to speak, and helps to foster growth amongst the hacker community. Keezel also made a good point in that sometimes its good to have a tutorial available to explain to you WHY and HOW something works that way you can apply it in the future.

Thanks for your input on the situation. Like I said, I was trying to put together the tutorial in an "ask a friend" style. Obviously that did not work out, but as I said, I am still making myself available to answer your questions. Just PM me, and I can help you when you need it. Good luck!
thanks algaen. i will if i need any help that i cant figure out myself.^_^

There's so freaking much information available on the internet. I learned it myself to. The thing I didn't like is that this information (altough very usefull) wasn't about learning to "hack", but rather show a few examples. (forgive me if I'm wrong Algaen, I didn't read you former post) It was ruining the "challange" as it is. Giving hints is cool, but you have to have a basic understanding and if you don't know where to start you surely don't have that basic you need to really understand the solution. If Algean tells you for level 1 to look at the source, but you don't know what all the <html> <body> etc means...
You know how freaking large the internet is ? This forum doesn't have to exist, for everything can be found already. I don't remember asking any question or reading a question on this forum or anywere else, that could not be answered with a link to relevant information. This website has a tutorial forum even. The FAQ is crammed full with helpfull links etc etc.
You don't need us to learn to finish them freaking challanges... That might be the easiest way, but it won't get you anywhere. We can help on small issues and hints, but we can't just learn you how to "hack".
