Image Printing Issue

Thanks Z... but the next question that is... if you and I are using both the same OS and IE 6, then why can you tile and I can't? I'm actually using XP Pro SP1 and IE 6 here at work, and XP Pro without SP1 and IE 6 at home... both places will not tile the image. But I do all the updates on both systems, think it could be a patch? Do you do updates?

Oh cdkj thanks, I don't understand how you could make an image that big fit on an 8x11 piece of paper. I will be interested if you might have a method of doing that! Thanks for the help!!

I'm using XP SP1 and IE6 it won't tile i do all the updates too i can scaled it and get the whole image if i don't the image cuts off Now i use paintshop pro all i did was check fit to page and bingo i got the whole image to print.One question what type of printer are you using i'm using a canon multipass C555.

that's reducing the image to make it fit (i have ways of doing things lol) this is just a example

i can take a 3x5 picture and make it in to a life size poster but that using a canon color copy machine

I'll mess with it tonight again,b/c i know it can be done

Heheh thanks cdkj, I didn't mean make an image fit, I meant make it fit and be readable. That's what I thought your post before your last one was trying to say. Believe me I'm a little tired and a little wired, so forgive me if things don't totally sink in! But I know what you're talking about when you say scale. Like I said though it has to be the size it's at, or at least readable if it's printed out... that's basically what the "people" are after who are running the project.

What printer we have doesn't matter. This is stuff ANYONE is supposed to be able to do. So I'm just trying to figure out what everyone is doing and what they have, to kind of make a write up on the website to give instructions on what to do if you have this system or that system to make it print tiled pages.

And if we don't get this figured out cdkj, then maybe you and I can bring the bald look into style? heheheh

I did this way to see what happens i save as jpg open window picture and fax viewer

now i got the whole image then i use print it open photo print wizard i check the image then i

hit fax full page print and it print the whole image it is readable too

"Fax Image"? I'm not sure I know of that application. Unless you are talking about the default imaging application that comes with XP?

yeah thats what i am was talking about it's the photo printing wizard

full page fax print it centers and rotates to fit
