NEED AUDIO DRIVERS & M$ XP Cracked?

yeah thanks, and if that doesnt work ill just use the link provided in this thread to get the sound working again, i just wish the sound card wasnt onboard.. they would have suitable drivers then.. :(

according to VAIO® Computer Specifications PCV-RZ22G / PCV-RZ24G /PCV-RZ26G it lists the "sound capabilities" as

Yamaha YMF-753

PC-drivers.net Yamaha YMF 753 sound card driver lists AC-XG Generic Drivers for YMF753, 743, 752 (Yamaha AC97 Codec) driver for Windows NT/2000

I know you have tried almost everything, but rather than give you a list of drivers, go to
http://www.driverguide.com/

Sign up, there you will find almost all Win 2000 drivers for the Yamaha sound chips.

Yamaha no longer support a site for their drivers

OK, my last try on this one ( haven't yet had a chance to read other threads )

You went to Sony support chose the "Computer & Peripherals" then chose "Desktops", then "RZ series" , then chose the "PCV-RZ22G/RZ24G/RZ26G" link ( which is what you have )..From there you chose "Original Software and drivers. For the Audio driver it lists the " Yamaha AC-XG Audio Device Driver, version 6.13.10.3154 " for windows XP, last modified 3/18/2003; the file is YA-E31540801BX.EXE
( one note, on the first page that lists all the drivers, it says version is
6.13.1.3154, but if you click the link it syas it is 6.13.10.3154 )

If you go to the same Sony support choose "Computer & Peripherals", then choose "Notebooks", then "GRV, GRX and GRZ", then choose the link for "PCG-GRX700K(CTO) " and then "Original Software and drivers."

Here you will find a "Yamaha AC-XG Audio Device Driver, version 6.13.10.3154, for the Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition and Professional and the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional Operating Systems." ; the file is YA-E31540C02AQ.EXE last modified 2/13/2003

It says on the down load page it is for XP, but looking through it it looks like it may work. It does not seem to have the same "restrictions" the Sony drivers have.
