Foolish? WTF? Anyone with 30 minutes of experience can point out that these sounds are associated with a messaging program. If you have 3 years of computer experience and you don't know what a bad hard drive sounds like compared to WAV files then you need a new line of work.

Yeah, and I also remember the sounds that came from those POS Packard Bell machines during the mid-90s. Now *that* sounded like something from another world ;)

Besides what other ppl have already mentioned, all I can think of would be Sub7........for a while I was infected with it a while back, and at random intervals I would hear random noises, and sounds... (not entirely sure whether it was Sub7...but considering the noises occured at the same time as my Sub7 infection....it an association I'm willing to make...)......but you said you were running an AV....which should detect Sub7.....

Hey thanks for all the input to the problem. I had no idea the AIM software did this I will definetly check to see what her settings have been changed to ( should have checked before i posted ). If is something other than that i will post any findings.

Also as far as the sounds in my head and they are all voices and they just tell me about everyone talking about me. Huh, What ...... oh, gotta go later and thanks again. :3pow:

Swear to god my VMS is possesed, keeps making these weird moans and chain rattling.
