Same could go for any CD you actually buy. In due time NetMD's will be illegal... because you are copying music unto it [there aren't really that many artists produced largely on MDs yet]. The radio company is paying for copyright, you are listening to the radio company. It's not your fault if they play music once in a while :)

Nope, in fact there is a special radio you an get for these perposes, most stations will have bordcasts on suchanels of there frequancy thats what stores and resturantes get. No DJ, no comercials, decent signal and they don;t need to keep tapes. Worked at a station for a while running the subchanle stuff.

hypronix > actually they cant rule NetMD's illegal, because as long as you are only copying an album you already own physically, it falls under the Fair Use Act, or whatever the provision is.
