Tiger Shark,
Hi mate!
Can you forward it to this e-mail addy? [email protected]
I will then fire it off on a labrat machine to see what happens?
The e-mail addy is serious................of course I have an e-mail account in Hanoi, wouldn't want to use my own, local one would I?
I am dead serious, just remove the bit you need to and send it. Was there an attachment BTW?
Cheers
Johnno

I got one of these today. Checked the header data and SamSpade'd back to the source. The domain source is in France (RIPE). I set my SMTP server to Block the whole dang thing.
I'll probably get fifty, tomorrow, from about five different countries.
Kinda like that art auction, art sale spam that has been coming in lately. Plug one hole, they find another. I block one avenue, they find one I can't afford to block.
Wasn't there something coming along that was going to replace SMTP as a more secure mail service and would kill SPAM?

Nihil: I cleaned out the "incriminating" evidence and forwarded you a copy. It's in HTML format and the link is live so take care.....
Ooops, if you don't get it at the address you posted yell..... I might have forgotten to erase the "removeme".....

Hi Guys,
Myself and the "labrat" are just fine :)
This stuff is HORRIFIC
I downloaded the demo version, and it does just what it says..............just imagine that stuff running on government, military and bank computers!!!
The website is:
[url]http://www.gokgle.us/[url]
The product is called "Lover Spy" and costs $89
How long before skiddies start reverse engineering it?
I have attached a .zip file with a .txt version of the demo proggy. I am afraid that VB is not my forte, but it looks pretty bad to me, and the .exe version certainly runs.
I updated McAfee 7.0, AVG 6.0, AdAware6.0, SpyBot S&D and SWAtIT! 2.1, and none of them spotted it!........I have sent a copy to AdAware.
My alternative defences would catch it, because they do not allow executables to run from within IE or Outlook, so I guess you could filter out executables at the mailserver/firewall? to protrct a network.
EDIT just found this for um
