Grrrr, I've been in the same situation, numerous times with different software.
Umm.....
Try to run updated scan using spybot to make sure thats not an issue
Make sure there is no software firewall causing a problem...I've had a similar problem once to find that I had a corrupted version of mcafee firewall installed that I didn't even know was there.
Try to download IE6sp1 again and re-install which will repair also link

Edit: Also may want to make sure you have the newest Java platform if it uses it link
Since you say you can log in with an alternative user and access the site without problems, I think you'll find the problems with your profile. More specifically your individual IE settings.
Either kill off you IE custom settings in the NTUser.dat (HKCU hive in the registry), or try a full profile reset. i.e. log in as an alternative administrator and rename your profile folder. Then log back in and test if it works ... if so start to set everything back up!
It's realy easy to fix. To go IE Option, go under Security and Internet zone security setting. Reset them to medium and you should be nice. A little more tweaking might be need. And yes, allow cookie. :) Hotmail and Bank use Cookie to keep their user authentified when they move around. Realy important for security messure!

I have only come across this once. It appeared that the User profile was somehow corrupted. I never found out how or why, just deleted them and re-created them a new one. Not the most elegant of solutions, but it worked in that instance.

Uh, do you use group policies on your domain? If you do, or did, you might have something left over on that one user. a way I test it is to make a new OU and move the user into it. You can also check on what policies are active on a user in the active directory tool I think.
Good suggestion, but I thought of that and moved this user to a OU that does not have any Group Policies and still no luck.Quote:

Thats pretty weird. What if that user logs into another computer on the domain, does she still have the problem (ie is it only her machine and her account, or any machine and her account?)
Just tryed logging in as her on another test machine and its ok. Its only on her machine and her account. I have logged in on her machine with my account (and other user accounts) and it works fine.
