|The|Specialist likes NYPD blue alot!! Andy is cool... "your under mother ****ing arrest" ... its always entertaining seeing him on that show... lol a short, fat, & bald cop who threatens/beats the **** outta peaple. Its cool...
Other than that, the sci-fi channel, movies on spike-TV, USA, HBO, ShowTime, DVDs, & cartoons... but other than that I pretty much just code in VB and C++, post here, hang in IRC, listen to music, e-mail, & walk around town and pretend that I have something better to do all day. Basicly average ****. I used to be a big gamer but now im mainly doing crap in D2 and the warcraft series. As far as gaming goes im mainly just doing alot of **** on my console games PS2 & (ect) and it all sucks... but GTA rocks though. lol & when I don't have a lady to keep me company I look at porno pics and **** films.
I used to watch the news CNN, MSNBC, FOX-news, NBC-news, intil I saw some of the "Tech-experts" they often bring into the news... ****ing idiots! You can tell it's purely scripted for end users yet they have no idea what they are talking about half the time anyways. And of course seeing the same stupid middle eastern ****ers gets boreing real fast.
I play Battlefield 1942. Pay 100 bucks for 500 channels and watch about 2. I like the digitital music though, have that going 24/7
The evolution of a forum...
When it starts...
Kids on the internet at young ages
The pain and misery of AOL
Kids growing up out of thier script kiddie ways
TV's eventual death
How almost no one watches tv
What people do watch
How they pay a lot of money to only watch two channels
And there you have it, the evolution of a forum.
I was born in 1990, and I have been called stranger things than "computer literate". I don't watch much TV (with the exception of the O'reilly Factor on Fox News, of course). My parents did get AOL, but it isn't to much of a problem. I just stole their passwords and removed all the restrictions from my account. I don't even browse with the AOL browser, it is and always has been a fine piece of crud that takes up 50 megs of space. I use IE for all my surfing. You're right, most kids I know know more about computers than even our school's computer teacher, who's talents are limited to being able to click a menu and push a button. I am continually asked to fix my teachers computers, when most of the time it's just that damn AOL blue-screening Windows again :) !
Yeah, it scares me to think what people growing up in this age are going to be able to do with computers. My 5 year old little brother can browse the web load up his own games (from disc) and draw and type on the computer. He can barely spell, yet he can type on the computer. So I say good for them. Imagine the leaps an bounds that may be covered in the generation to come.
Thanks,
Adiz
yah i know what you mean. my little nefu was only 4 when he first had hands on contact with a computer, he picket it all up really fast.
he can now do any thing on it (with in reason)
