Some guy yapping about money over and over... sounds like spam to me and spam may not be illegal but its annoying.

I am trying to think positively about this one :)
A lot depends on where you live, and the opportunities that your environment provides. I can only really comment from an English viewpoint, so I don't know how relevant that would be. Another major factor is the skills that you have.
In this country there are a lot of people who have computers that they use for e-mails, a bit of online shopping, writing letters and that sort of stuff. They actually know very little about them, and are too lazy/disinterested to learn any more than the basic functions they require.
They are prepared to pay someone to do the "clever" bits  for them. This would Include such tasks as setting up an antivirus and firewall, basic security settings, loading and testing new software, creating recovery disks, setting up new peripherals, and so on. Even just moving a computer from one room to another and setting it up.
I also know of those who will pay someone to come round every couple of weeks or so to run a virus scan, run the MS updates, run scandisk, defrag their drives and burn their backup CDs.
Please DO NOT consider these people "lame" they are "$$$$" :D
If everyone knew everything about computers, half of us would not have a job?
There.........................I even managed to make it vaguely relevant to a security site?
Cheers

Have got to go along with |The| Specialist on this , especially after checking out the thread. He's asked this before, and had sensible informative replies. WTF does he want ?
-
If I was being scarcastic, offhand I'd say one of two things:
- people to find him an online job
- people to send him money ala E-panhandling
(See this article for info/insight)

Nice find.
PcPunk should have learned the lesson first time round.

Hi,
I am not preaching...............yes I read his previous posts, and had to make a value judgement. I guess that we all have to do that sometimes?
We have a lot of guests on this site, who could be (potentially) excellent members. I would not want to "scare them off", as I am sure that they will not know previous posting patterns?
Also, my advice was intended for others who may have the same question, AND whose intentions are entirely honourable? I think that MsMittens had the same idea with her first response?
Hell, we all see things and "have a go", but as plenty of people had already done that, my contribution would have been meaningless.
I guess I have had to deal with the User community too long? :D
Cheers

/me remembers a time when most of you were complaining about people acting exactly like you are acting now.

why hasnt this tool been banned yet?
-
Because we are trying to be "nice to the newbies".....even though they are basically asking us to crack an account and add money to pay pal for him....Now that i think about it WHY ARE we being nice again?
-
ummmm where did he ask that? he asked for a way to make money online. No one mentions anything like setting up a free tripod account and then using some type of linkexchange for banner ads or setting up an affiliate account with some online places where you can make money off of clicks on banners or anything like that. They just jump down the guys throat. MsMittens it the only one that made a serious reply and he already said he couldn't have a normal job for some reason. maybe he can't walk and has a hunch back, so he doesn't leave the house. I am starting to wonder if anyone takes the time to think before they post, or if it just makes them feel cool to talk ****.
