That said, you seem to suggest that men who write poetry are "boys". Have you read some of the greats of poetry like Frost, Shakespeare, etc? If IIRC, not only did they do it to just express an emotion at the time but they did it to make money. Many male poets do exceptionally well (both with awards and publishing of poetry).
It is but another artform like say drawing, computer graphics, graffitti.
IMHO, based on what I've read that you write and presented yourself, it makes me think that you view women as nothing more than something to get what you "need".
So while you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I think Deb (and all the boys and girls) are entitled to theirs, even if they disagree with your opinion.
And that's just my opinion. So... *BLEAH*
