I've had two accounts expire at yahoo. I think if you don't use the account for like 3 months or something then they disable it. How long was it between the last reply you got and the last email that was sent successfully?
:) Just a couple thoughts from this novice:
1. A person's Yahoo mailbox account can become FULL if owner doesn't clear or add enough email space. When this happens, mail gets bounced back to sender.
2. Sometimes Yahoo closes accounts (Screen names and the associated emails) for "naughty behaviour" :p or shockingly, even for no reason at all ---they call it a fluke.
3. As mentioned above, Yahoo email provides means of blocking specific emails and I believe, email groups.
Bottom line, stop trying to email and find alternative way to reach your buddy.
