Still will not matter, i will still have to have AOL running so therefore i will get em even if i change my browser. and how was the going to help me?
A) If you don't browse the internet using the AOL browser, you won't be sent any pop-ups unless their using Messenger..
B) Mozilla can't open up new windows, it has a pop up killer that works.

Messenger service comes with Windows xp all you have to is disable it. It don't matter if you got.

You can also get a router and stop it all. Thats what I do.

i used to have a prog named SPYBOT that could stop ads on allot of progs incl DOWNLOAD ACCELERATER,etc.
try that(i dont know where u gonna find it ,try asking mrs.GOOGLE);
You don't say what version of AOL you are using, I have AOL 8.0 which has a built in pop up blocker. At the bottom of a web page is a little icon message saying "Allowing pop ups", click on that and you can block them, or allow them from certain web sites. So my suggestion is to upgrade to AOL 8.0. This blocker does not work when using IE though. I hope this helps.

No offense...but do people actually read through a thread before posting to it? I answered the question in post #5 of this thread and in Post #6 was told that's exactly what was needed.
And we're still talking about pop-up blockers that are completely irrelevant to the messenger service in which the intial post of this thread was about. I don't mean to be anal...well, maybe I do...BUT damn, how many times do you intend to beat a thread to death?
