The3ntropy: are they red with white spots that look like eyebrows? or are they orange. If they are red with the white, they are lady bugs, they are good things ass tehy eat just about all other bugs, unfortunitly every few years their population explodes...wait it out. If they are orange, they are Japanese bettels, a relativley new to thie midwest pest species that eats dead animals (their bits hurt a bit, I have been bitten by them way too many times), fortunatly they smush easly, contact your local fish and wildlife service as a invadeing pest species they may give you some advice on ridding yourself of them.
