Nature and Nurture are intertwined. You can be genetically likely to have a traigh but society and teaching can alter or surpress a trait, just as it could fuel a trait. In America it could be along the lines of political thinking...
Right Wing: it's the kids fault, take them to trial as adults and slap them away someplace, or fry their ass in an electric chair. (remember this was a fun game to them)
Left Wing: it's the video game and the government who led to this tragedy, they are victims of society they didn't know what they were doing, the need to be "re-educated".
I think they are inherently bad kids who could have been influenced by any number of situations in their life and were probably not supervised all that great, but at the same time they mirror 99 percent of our kids in the lack of attention and supervision mom and dad put forth. They weren't abnormally influenced. They are just bad kids. Hell I could even entertain the fact that they just made a stupid choice. But they killled someone. All bets are off. No one is to blame but them. At 16 you are cabable to drive and work and act normally and inteligently with society. You know what causes pain and what the effects of violence, anger and even love are. Bad kids. See you in 10 years or so.
Parents: Listen up. Please teach your kids it is NOT a good think to shoot at cars. ;) I have read a couple of these stories and I just wonder why these kids have access to guns.

They steal them. Many states and more accurately: counties have laws that require firearms to be secured and protected. But NO ONE, I mean both republics and demos, make an effort to locally uphold those laws. That is an opinionated comment.Quote:

Oh I agree, I didn't mean they run down to "Bob's Big Guns" and steal them. They take them without permission from parents, friends, neighbors, grandpas, and uncles houses. They should be locked up by LAW in many places. It's that LAW that seems to be lacking any local enforcement by all.Quote:

Its chills me to think, those kids had to actually take aim and follow a car and possibly even lead it for the bullet to strike. Looking down the site of the gun with a smile, that was their minds doing; that with full knowledge of the power they held. Power over someone else. Power over life and death. Maybe that's the motivation? Who knows I am not a criminal psychologist.

I dont know. I was raised around guns (we went to the desert to shoot at targets) but I was always taught that you dont point a gun at people or any kind of vehicle that might have people in it. From my point of view, I wonder why these kids didnt have any common sense to think that "Hey maybe that will F up someones life," or "maybe shooting at a car would be wrong." I just wonder if they did not get this life lesson or if they have some sort of issue with having control or power with a gun like you stated.Quote:

Some foks are jsut sociopaths, big debate on wither its upbrining or inharent....but some fokes can't distinguish right from wrong (or get a rush from doing what they know is wrong.) they have allways existed, we jsut heard less about them in the past (and their where uncivilised areas ofthe world where they could kill with impunity). Games didn't create this issue, and blameing killers on video games is amezingly stupid.
