I've used IE for most of my life, but recently swithched to Netscape, because it's much easier to surf with, especially with multiple sites (there's not 20 browser windows along the bottom!!). You can download it for free from here
Also, it has some problems by default in opening up .exe's - this is double edged, because you really have to run a program, so you can't open it by accident, but it can be a bit annoying after a while!
I recommend Mozilla or Opera. I have worked with EI, NEtscape, Mozilla, Opera, and the ones that i have had less probles or noproblems at all are Mozilla and opera, they are fast and reliable.
Ok everyone, looks like i really got my work cut ouy for me.
Anyhow i tried to install Netscape 7.0 but i finally worked out that it wouldn't work as i am still on win95.
So i tried to install Mozilla and it downloaded and worked like a dream. So now i'm happily using Mozilla.
It was different to the Internet Explorer but i do find it more user friendly.
So thank you all for your valuable information, and thankyou twice for being so willing to help a newbie with my problem..

:D thanks to those who sugested mozilla i just finished downloading it :D
I was actually suprised after hearing all the good things about it, i bit the bullet and downloaded mozilla aswell.
And it was the best choice i could make me thinks, It's fun and COOOL all wrapped into one neat little program..
I even downloaded the source code for it, and i plan to have some fun with it...
