I believe you are referring to me as an admin. I'm not. I'm a moderator who gave you some advice.
When I suggested you call him on it, I suggested it in the mistaken assumption you'd do it with some dignity and a little class. I had thought that you would have posted something that was thoughtout, presented an argument and left nihil re-thinking his present course of action. That was my mistake for not picking up clues as to how upset this had made you and for that, I apologize.
IMHO, I think by a) swearing and cursing out Nihil and then b) cursing out members (I don't know what the original post by Whiz kid was like) doesn't resolve anything. If anything, the way it has been presented might make things worse.
Now some comments for everyone (not just etruscan). This whole thing on both parties is out of hand. On the one side, etruscan was being scarcastic about the "chinese" comments (which may not have come across) and nihil is making assumptions about an individual that I believe he/she has never met. I have a suggestion for both of you: leave each other alone. I wish I had a dunce cap and a corner for you both to go into but I don't.
It's really easy to let our frustrations get the better of us but to resort to the level of the one bothering us isn't worth it. I find that these days people take what is being said online as personal afronts, like someone punched you or stabbed you or something. It would appear that we let our egos become hurt more quickly here than in the real world.
I won't close this thread yet but I ask that everyone that does post to here try to leave the emotional stuff out, the APs out and put forth some simple but geniune comments. Perhaps some real communication can happen rather than assumptions and miscommunications.
