CXGJarrod - Those arn't really images though.
However, we at Unerror had an image stolen from us. And it was protected by copyright, (See Benrne convension, it states that the image would be copyright upon creation by the person who created it). But if you have no proof that you acctually made it, then the copyright is pretty much void.
Christina (GreekGoddess) created a tutorial on protecting images on websites, but, I don't know the address ast this moment, a quick search of the forums will no doubt find you what you are looking for.
I do know that Canada and United States go by the Berne convension, but, I don't know about the other countries, it is most likely true that it does, but I suggest you look into it.
And, there are was to prove you made it first, watermarks, there are some companies that will let you upload and prove that you it is yours to copyright for a low price, again, I am sorry I don't know the address, but again a quick search of Google will tell you!

If anyone is worried about using graphics on their website or anywhere else, royalty free stock photography is the way to go. They are better than any graphic you pull off any site, and they are free! Just google for them, I posted this somewhere else as well-

Ive dealt with this a couple times. Regardless of wether putting the picture of someone else is legal or not. If you contact the webmaster of the site or whoever owns the servers and raise enough of an uproar. 90% of the time they will take it down. However if its on those friendship meeting places that you see everywhere and you try and contact the person who posted their pictures pretending to be whoever else. They will swear up and down the pictures are of themselves. Its happened to my g/f before and it can be a pain in the ass to take care of.
