OS that runs from CD???

The biggest prob would be that you have some unreckonized legacy hardware and the live distro won't boot ;)
Further, running a system from a cd can make it slow, loading up apps can take ages sometimes :(

Yeah :), got Knoppix going well enough to make this post. Gotta go buy a thumb drive now for saving purposes. It works pretty fast for running off of a CD. Very nice GUI and resonably friendly user interface for a linux distro. Although, I am still an ASP Linux fan. Thanks for all the help guys...
