Translating messages into binary can be done quite easily if you have a Linux box, if you load up KHexEdit under X it'll work quite nicely...goes from all systems to all other systems easily. I have fun sending random Binary messages...

I have Red hat linux but absolutely NO experience with it so I wouldn't know how to load up "KHexEdit under X"
Click on the Redhat in the corner, go up to Accessories>More Accessories>KHexEdit.
That should do it. :-)
