Well the only release that isn't loaded down with garbage and usless **** is 7.2 lol
It is stable I will give them that, but it is only stable if you know what all 10 million usless garbage addons can be removed and deleted... my core is custom :) I guess a lot of it would be like using a ship anchor for a row boat hehe

Heh, that and RHN is complete ****. Having to sign up for an account just to update...Yuck. I use SuSE, Slackware, Debian, Libranet, Mandrake, and BSD. Redhat is the only one that makes you sign up for an account.
Even Windows doesn't make you do that! Heh, lol.

EDIT:
For your post below:
It seems to be working fine, I just gave you greenies and it worked out fine.
Also, if you have an extra $80, I'd recommend buying SuSE 8.2 or 9.0 Professional. It's ALOT better than redhat. I'v turned quite a few redhat users on to SuSE and also some Linux newbies onto it.
http://www.suse.com
I will give it a whirl I will just build another box here in my office... I use redhat 7.2 pon all my client machines but have a 9 box I was playing with... core disection weeeee If you say Suse is good I will do her and see how things turn out.
If I get stuck anywhere I will come to you fer help is that ok lol
I gave ya greenies and werked right after my post :)

THats not all that sux about RHN I bought that 9 and then called them for support just to see what would happen and asked them some trivial dumb **** and the person told me that...
We are sorry sir you will have to buy an extended support package to have that question answered. I paid 145 dollars for something I could download... and then they did not even want to support their product without 1st sticking it in me another 3 inches.
I told the guy on the phone I was floored and that whoever made that choice was sick and needed help...

Should have told him "Ugh, fine, I'll go buy SuSE".
They are competitors and the whole one time I actually contacted SuSE I got an e-mail the next day with my answer.
I'v never had a real problem with SuSE so I e-mailed there staff to ask how to pronounce it. I got the reply the next day (A few hours later) saying how to pronounce it. They were also very nice.
