so true. I find all to often people trying to host games on their cable or dsl accounts... 128 up just doesn't cut it.

You can rent servers though.... maybe we can all take turns putting up the cash to play?
It can't be all that much. Maybe open a paypall account for it, and everyone can chip in a bit?

I wouldn't mind contributing to a paypal account. I could chip in like 20-40 a month. just depends on my income. lol

For some servers $40 covers it.

These gameservers have anythign from OC-12 to OC-48 connections.

All we need is 5 members to contributer about $10-15. If we can get a couple more, then that would be good.

Unless good old Jupm would like to contribute to our cause. It would be good advertising right? you could have a message when you join the game saying something about antionline, or enterpriseitplanet. lol

But then it would have to be available to everybody... I thought the whole point was so we could all just play each other. Then again, maybe they'll just be nice to us.

I guess what I meant to say was all we would need is about 5 members to hand over about 10 dollars. But it would be open to everyone. It would be better if we could get 15 members contributing $5-15, but if youd don't contribute, don't worry. It would be nice if you could, but we would let you play. lol

We would have it passworded so non AO'ers couldn't get on. This would be solely an AO server for AO members. Like I said I can give about $20. Just as long as some more people contribute, we would be set for 1 month.

We would need to decide on the game that would be hosted.

Heres what I've come up with.

Counter Strike.
Halo.
Battle Field 1942 with the Desert Combat Mod
Unreal Tournament
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Command And Conquer
Call of Duty.

We can get anyone of those games on a server.

I think we would need a admin for the server. Not sure how we woudl do that though. Would it be Seniors only? Addicts and Seniors? Or everyone. lol

I think only the Seniors should know the passoword to the server so we don't get anyone joining AO finding the passoword then messing with the game. So if anyone needs the PW then they can email a member and we can make sure that they are a contributing member to AO.

Thats just an Idea though.

Oh another Q? i came up with is...Lol umm how many do we have members here playing that game and how many can we take onto the server...You see it might not be enough for us all :(

It's a game FPS and you have a mission lol thats all...there is no being nice to anyone...only if you are in his team lol...but opposing team....kick 'em har :D
Oh yes another thing is....Nice in the play NO...but Nice in language and stuff yes....like swearing and if someone is bothering you and talking bad and stuff...we should not tollerate that just like on AO.
