Ok, I see what you are trying to do. I can't seem to get DUMPEL to take any wildcard in the -m parameter.
The workaround I do is via grep in Perl script I use, however you could use the FIND command in DOS.

thanks anyway ric-o. i am using the find command but it takes so dammed long for find to go threw the dump log so many time and append it all to the file im using as the soure for the body of the htm doc. it would be so much easiier to have dumpel search for 10 at once.
