If I had to say I could probably sit through sometime that is intelligently funny or at least has some kind of new twist, Run, Lola, Run and A Clockwork Orange are good films.

You're damn right lumpyporridge, porn is the best genre... Although I believe "Adult" would be a better name for it. They also claim to be educational. It's sort of true. I learned more from porn than I ever leaned in high school.
I also like anything by Stanley Kubrick.
I like action films (that are not exagerated), psychological thrillers, some horror.
Some of my favs: Silence of the lambs, Independance day, Sleepy Hollow, classic: Das Boot,...
Also one of the best psychological movies I've ever seen was one in a Highschool with Samuel L. Jackson, it was about racism etc. All "colored" people in the class that won't listen...
Some one got stabbed with a screw driver of something too in that film.
Samuel L. Jackson kills the students (he get's sick or something)...because they're just "crap", "people that are vandalists, hooligans etc." don't know English word for it "krapuul" in dutch...
Anyone rember the title of that film??
