AFAIK it is an acronym: For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. I would take the view that if it was acceptable to the Puritans of New England, then it should be acceptable to AO.

The real naughty word is "Swive" which is a verb, and middle Saxon (AD700) ;) ..............use it freely, its a bit like Mobol or Sperry Mapper..................not many people understand the language these days :D

I can never understand all this commontion over a simple word. Personally, I think it all stems from an elite class some hundreds of years ago inventing thier own dialect so they would feel superiour to those less fortunate by speaking in a more "polite" manner.

I just watched Die Hard 2 on TBS last night. All the swearing had been edited out, and this movie has a lot of it. It was almost to the point of being unwatchable because of it. Yet I watched that network show me hundreds of people dying. Bullets through the head, being sucked into jet engines, throats being slit, choking, burning alive, all manner off horrible and violent deaths.

Yet they weren't allowed to broadcast those seven words because some beuracrat decided the were illegal. So if violence on TV really does affect are children, then maybe they will grow up to be killers and murderers, watching Die Hard at 6:00 in the afternoon. But at least they'll be well spoken killers.
