To the OP, if you are still even reading this thread, for AMD processors, I'd go with an Asus or Abit board (the NF7 and A7N8X are both decent NForce2 based boards). For Intel, Asus again, or a real Intel board if you can afford the price premium.
Just saying "Athlon 3200+" is too vague, it could be either the Athlon XP 3200+ or the Athlon 64 3200+.
