Can you make a php website using notepad?

I use Dreamweaver (including the wysiwyg side) as it is alot quicker to build the basic framework before tweeking by hand. When developing to a deadline it def helps alot

I mostly use notepad, well a notepad like app. It is called editpad at www.editpad.com. I would use notepad but in 2000 it has buffer issues, that make coding hard. I don't like programs like front page, dreamweaver, Asp.net Matrix. They hidden me too much. Another good editor is called gvim.
