As for 'cookies' Yes, let the 'trusted' sites read and write them, just remember to delete them on a regular basis, as well as any temp net files? it's not that big a deal to re-sign yourself into a site if that's what helps keep your (well earned ) paranoia happy :) you seem to be sweating the big stuff a bit too much, just learn too relax a little (not a lot) and it soon settles in, And about PGP, and Pooh's reply, It is possibly !! the best in it's field at securing your data, but that WILL make the Authorities take a little more interest in you, however, peace of mind is better than letting someone get a piece of YOU !!
