I had allways thaught he did the kite trick near town where you would have lightning rods and what not...but that may well be misinformation there is a lot of that running around from the revalutionary war era. Now considering they had lightning rods on houseis at that time why did he use the silly kite key contraption?

History seems to show that innovation was founded on someone trying a really stupid and dangerous experimant and then being lucky enough to survive to talk about it. It they dont survive they go to the darwin awards and if they do survive they go to the encylopidia Britanicia.
