Well I have root FTP access to the whole site.
Maybe its blocking only some IPs?
If I use proxy 64.30.49.133 port 8000 I CAN get it.
If I use my ip 141.151.71.x I CAN'T get it.
I'm using philly verizon dsl...
Its hit or miss depending on IP.
12.173.169.11 port 8000 is another sucessful one. (MUCH FASTER)
I still can't get through on my ip.

the strange thing though is aht I could get it about 3 days ago then all of a suddend I couldn't get the pics anymore.
Here is a silly thought......maybe it has something to do with speed of your connection. I am on dialup and when phishphreek80 used a proxy ( which would slow thing down a bit) he could get it.
Just a thought.
good idea. but some proxies work some don't. they all slow me to a crawl... :confused:
cheyenne: try the second proxy I listed. see if that works for you.

I think I'll talk to the web support people.
I just renewed my ip to a different subnet and I still am denied.
just a quick observation... don't know if its true for everyone...
When using a proxy that only has a two digit starting number ex. 12, 64, 65, etc. I can view pictures.
When using a proxy that has a three digit starting number 141, 210, 212, 193, etc. I can't view pictures.
I didn't test all that many though. Maybe a half dozen or so...
Oh, one more thing. It always works when I use a proxy with port 8000...
Just wanted to throw a couple of quick observations out there.
hmmm.....my ISP is 66.XXX.XXX.XXX. 2 digit number starting it.
why would it do that though? As for the internet connection I'm on Comcast Broadband...It worked for me 2 days ago but anymore. I dont use a proxy. I'd defenitely check with theBBGN cheyenne.
If you don't have permissions, just crawl the site & take them for all they are worth. I've collected over 300mgb of pictures, off one celebrity site in one sitdown(20-30min). That site does not look to advanced so SAM SPADE should handle that one, if not let me know I have something a lot more powerful for serious crawling.
PS: if you use a firewall you will be getting a DDOS attack during the use. (Firewalls*fart)
Oh and with proxies I always try to us ones that start with 24. , for obvious reasons. ;)
