I beg to differ BBallad. The onus, IMHO, does not fall on the litigation lawyer. Rather responsibility resides with liberal judges and vengeful jurists that the Democratic party has created by convincing a large amount of people that all businessess are inherently evil. And once the case is won by the littel man and he is awarded a multi-million dollar settlement, does this change anything? No! All you get is a warning label for something every individual that has the common sense that God gave a Turnip should be able to readily figure out. McDonalds still sells "HOT" coffee, ladders are still placed on "uneven surfaces" and people don't check for cow patties before using the ladder, people still drive after taking medication that "may make you drowsy", people still smoke when cigarettes cause "lung cancer", people are still going to eat at McDonalds, dare I continue. Yes, some lawsuits are justified. Your example of firestone is an appropriate example of a needed class action lawsuit. However suing a beer manufacturer and the racetrack where the beer was sold, when 2 women used the mens room because of long lines, or suing a car shade company because the car shade did not say "do not use while driving" is just down right stupid. And the only way these cases can ever make it through a court is via a bleeding heart liberal agenda, where the little guy has to get even with the evil rich merchant. Rant Rant Rant.
