1.Sam Houston was the general, William Broughton Travis was the colonel (at the Alamo) Maximillian Santa Anna was the other general?
2.Yes............the battle of the San Jacinto River 1836
3. No............a Lascelles class light cruiser..........about 12,000 tons displacement..............they are hi-tech command vessels...............the San Jacinto is commmand ship for the fourth carrier group...........USN Sixth fleet.............things might have changed .........but it is a bloody big ship!
4. I would have to get the photos but the number is between 136 and 139?...any seagulls on site?
5. No old chap..............the Alamo was before...........1836 is fine for the state of Texas........that was San Jacinto.............
6. OK you win, in a way as you are technically correct.............but Travis was Houston's nominee?
7. I am now starting to regret giving you those greenies................Yorkshire!!!!
Now just pick up that M-62, and I will tell you what to do next :D
