I guess some people are so stupid that that companies feel the need to cover their asses.

There are a lot of sue happy people in this world... specifically in the US...

These warnings are probably products of former lawsuits...

I prefer the new beer warning labels... LoL

I know too many people who will actually attest to this!

I'd vote for removal of all warning lables (inculding the helpfull ones)

It would clean up the geen pool and be very good for future generations,
well so would a nuclear war killing all humans be good for the rainforest, but that'd be step two..

Here are some examples of stupid warning labels that can be stumbled upon. Stole these from http://www.power-of-attorneys.com. The sad part is that where you find a warning label you find someone that was stupid enough to preform a questionable act and then sue a company for their stupidity.

On a blanket from Taiwan:
Not to be used as protection from a tornado.

Warning on fireplace log:
Caution -- Risk of Fire.

A warning on a pair of shin guards manufactured for bicyclists:
Shin pads cannot protect any part of the body they do not cover.

Warning on an electric router made for carpenters:

On a hair dryer:

Warning on a cartridge for a laser printer:

A wheel 13" a wheelbarrow warns:

Can of self-defense pepper spray warns:
May irritate eyes.

Warning on a Conair Pro Style 1600 hair dryer:
Do not use in shower. Never use while sleeping.

Toilet bowl cleaning brush warns:

An electric cattle prods warns:

A can of air freshner warns:
Keep out of reach of children and teenagers

Cheap rubber ball toy warning:
Choking hazard: This toy is a small ball.

Caution on a package of dice:
Not for human consumption.

In the manual of a chainsaw:
Do not attempt to stop the blade with your hand.

Stamped on the barrel of a .22 calibre rifle:
Warning: Misuse may cause injury or death.

Instructions for an electric thermometer:
Do not use orally after using rectally.

On the wrapper of a Fruit Roll-Up snack:
Remove plastic before eating.

A TV remote controller warns:
Not dishwasher safe

Unfortunately the crook, if he lives, can infact sue you if you use to much force. Now think about it. You are in the dead of sleep, after midnight, and there's a noise that wakes you, are you going to offer the dude coffee or kick his butt, stick him with a sword, and/or shoot him. Well I doubt if the coffee would be a consideration. So I have a big dog with very sharp teeth and when a fly farts he's next to it's butt. Enter at your own risk...... :eek:

Did you guys read the one book, i dont know what it's called, but it basicly desbribes death of some people, and the way they died was so dumb and funny that they are out of the gene pool, like some guy was working at a zoo, and the elephant couldnt poo, so he gave him lots of ex-lex(however u spell it) and it didnt work so he took a hose and wanted to basicly flood the poop out of him, when he came behing the elephant, the ex-lex began to work and the elephant covered the man with tons of poo, the man died.

I dont remember the books name but it's hillarious.

Its about as good as the guy who decided it was a good idea to start to pleasure himself while looking at porn on his laptop and had been using the laptop for a while, heated the sucker up and burnt his genitalia all because he set his laptop on his naked body to get a closer look.

i believe you talking about the darwin awards. where a man used a bullet to jump a fuse in his truck, the bullet got hot went off shot and killed him or it shot him in the groin and he drove off the road and died...something like that. they come out with a new list ever year.
