White Zin.
white zin, exellent choice. For those who don't know, zinfandel is not white nor red...its a light pink color. I attended a wine & chocolate tasting event hosted by the bank I used to work for. The manager had a couple of extra tickets so he gave me one. They introduced a new white zin made in california...Besides using the zinfandel grapes they also added a couple of berries to it...making a delicious light pink wine perfect for any meal have it be Surf or Turf. It has a distinct taste where its perfectly balanced between sweet and sour...I have a couple of bottles at home, I'll get you the name whenever I get out of work.
Personally I prefer Cabernet Sauvignon and some Shiraz for my meats and Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Gris for my seafood...although I'll alternate between the two when I'm cooking with them...
I am not a big fan of white zin, I just thought it would digest easily with the gas and hot air produced by world politics. :)
I think I am like you, not a huge connoisseur but definitely a little more than your average wine drinker. Love the stuff.
Well...I'm not a big fan of beers...or hard liquor (Vodka, Whisky). The only beers i'll usually drink are Carlsberg and Corona. I dont mind a BUD(whatever) once in while but not too crazy about them. Bacardi also offers a few drinks that I like...but I'm always open to try new drinks whenever they're available ;). Wine is the only thing I prefer when i'm eating in a restaurant.
Good man. Your still drinking corona. ;)Quote:
