I think a firewall is a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it wills helps a lots too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hopes you donts gte hckaed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and cybrid, CoD works with the same keys on a network. We did it at a lan party recently. We had 15 computers using 3 cd keys :D

It will work on a LAN because it will not require authentication of the CD key...but you will not be able to join servers over the internet using more than once CD key at a time.

Yeah, that's true. But if all you plan on having them do is play against each other it works!

Thats not what a firewall does. A firewall prevents harmful programs from entering your computer, or at least dialing out of your computer without you knowing about it. I.E. BargainBuddy gets in your computer somehow, and it needs to connect to the internet to download more ****. A firewall will warn you, and you can stop bargain buddy from connecting. A firewall also helps prevent hackers from entering your computer.
For the internet cafe, you'll need both A router, a software firewall, an Antivirus, and every week you need to clean them up of the junk that users install in them.
This is the software I use for my internet cafe : http://www.antamedia.com/caffe/
Remember, you will not be making any money the first couple of months. How many computers are you going to install? I paid $3500 for 6 computers and$2500 for the games. for certain games you'll need to buy one for each computer, For example you'll need to buy 5 Call of Duty games for 5 computers because they won't be able to use the Same CD key at the same time.
A couple of Xboxes and PS2s will also please customers and could bring in revenue.
Not true, the trick with CoD "double key boot" is a simple admin console command I will dig it up for you guys it will disable that function enabled in the server patches. Give me a couple of days after the fourth and I'll PM the server console command to you guys. Note any good server admin will disable it if you ask.
By the way I bought the FX5900 AkA the (boeing because of it's noise.) just for CoD what are you guys running CoD on ATI or the FX?

I run a 9600 XT... Runs better than my friends 5600 XT in CoD and Thief, but in most other games we get around the same frames...
How do you assign each comp it's own proc and what the heck does it do?
