I still think this was funny....
"Dewey Defeats Truman..."
was anyone able to get a copy of that version of the post?? -- i heard about it on the radio this morning into work...
Apparently, it's been selling on eBay for around $80...
I'd post a link, but I'm not allowed on eBay at work (websense)
Road, look at the 80 primary where bush ran agenst reagan...some of the better quotes/attak ads dealt with "Vodoo econamics"....four yers later bush fully embraced supply side...its all just retoric on both sides...personal I would be pro bush if we had a democratic congress...we have a republican congress so im pro kerry, the less the dopes can do the better if either party gains full control like bush has now a lot of stupid stuff gets through (patriot act as a prime example.)Quote:

have you read/heard of what the democrats are planning on doing?
Yeah, they're gonna shut down the city for a week and re-route all of the traffic right by my office. :fpissed:Quote:
YEAH...besides that....
GOD, i have to close my store for 4 days, hope the windows are not broken by the time everything is over.
I was refering to what they're planning on doing if they get elected (highly doubtful).
bballad you would vote for Kerry because of the makup of congress? What if it changes? Is that the new angle in rational thinking? Here is a scoop for those not inclined to know:
This is the 108 congress, whom I have quoted here many times. In 2004 there are many seats up for election to my knowledge this is the breakdown....
34 Senate seats (19 Dem 15 Rep)
8 are open (many reasons why, like Nighthorse retiring, seeking other offices, term limits)
And get this, there are 435 house seats up. WTF.
house isn't about to change...if we can correct some of the radical stuff that bush did with a dem president and a devided congess we will be much better off then if we let the conservatives have four more unrestraind years to strip us of all our freedom.

Do me a favor. Please delineate, in detail, _exactly_ how your life has changed for the worse since George Bush entered the presidency as a result of these "stripping of freedoms" you liberals keep woffling on about.
Don't tell me you lost your job or that prices went up please tell me exactly what you _used_ to do on a regular basis, (or even an irregular basis), under Clinton and previous administrations that you are no longer able to do due to legislation passed by the Bush administration.
I have a postage stamp if you need paper.......
