You almost certainly don't need to download anything (except for documentation if you need it). It is highly likely that your redhat box already comes with a suitable kernel and tools.

just to help you, thekit, that firewall is name "Netfilter". iptables is the name of the command that runs at user level and maintain netfilter tables. 2 components: netfilter, that runs on the "core" and is load together with Linux, and iptables, user interface.
However, most of the guys name the firewall as "iptables".....
