I fish for bass a lot too... They are very fun to catch, much more exciting than Channel Catfish or Crappie in my opinion. Have you ever fished for pike or Walleye? You live up near the great lakes, so I thought perhaps you had been fishing up there in the cold.Quote:

No Chub or Tench unfortunately. Bass are the fish most people go for here. They fight like hell but only get to around 10-15lb.
I used to fish chub and Tench all the time over there. Great fish. I like a nice Barbel too but they are harder to find. They fight like a Bonefish which is quite a treat.
