Your logic is wrong.
If adware gets on my machine, I want to see any pop ups it will make so I know that adware somehow got there. I don't want a popup blocker hiding any symptoms of an infection. I don't consider a pop up blocker an answer to adware pop ups, it simply hides the symptoms.

As for prevention- Yes, I do have my security settings enabled and configured, thank you very much. :p

edit: how weird.... I got a new IP from my isp, and now I can get to AO just fine.

I just got your little popup. Same one asking me to take a survey and win $. I was using Galeon.

I was gonna neg the popup but I couldn't find the menu on it. :D

I got it again today as well. I've heard something about JupMedia doing a survey? Perhaps if they could let us know what's going on, it might relieve some of the concerns that members have.

There are popups. I use IE only to come here and I have had a few.

I got two today, the survey wasnt so bad but it came back up two minutes later.

IMHO those popups are annoying. Or even pointless, since that "valuable" member just block/close the ad. Perhaps Jupm can use another way to do it less annoying
