sorry :( i spent an hour posting that huge response in my other thread, and the other hour having dinner.
Dude! Never vote for someone, unless you believe that individual is the best available person for the job. You vote is a powerful voice and you should cast it in a serious nature and with the proper reverence for the statement you are going to make by casting your ballot for one candidate. If you feel that Nader is the best candidate then vote your conscience, because that is the only way to eventually bring about a third party that will reflect your views.Quote:

I am also suprised that you fell for this spin eRok. A vote for Nader does not help President Bush nor does it help John Kerry. A vote for Nader helps Nader. Admittedly if a large portion of Democrats vote for Nader then yes, it could have an overall negative impact for the Kerry campaign. However, upon further observation, one has to ask, "If that many Democrats are voting for Nader, then what is wrong with the Demorcatic party that drives them to cast their vote in such a manner?"
Now, if you really "hate" President Bush that much, and you just have to see him removed from office, then by all means vote for John Kerry. Just remember that your vote, or rather your true political voice, will be silenced during this election.
Granted this is coming from and admitted Republican, so you can view my statement a circumspect. However, I often vote for Democrats in local elections, where I believe that the Democrat is a better candidate or more conscionable individual, and thus better suited to hold political office. That is the power of my vote.
Actually, Kerry's wife has everything to do with him being president, because she/her family has all the money that got him started in politics in the first place.Quote:

yeah.. nearly every *big* politician's wive's or families are brought into their campaigns, terms, etc. its sad really. I mean, wtf does Kerry's wife have to do with him being president... nothing. anything to blind the american people. No one else notices that when we have a democrat in office, the economy somehow gets better.. we don't typically go to war.. and the country is simply a better place to live in. Generally and i mean generally the people who are strong conservatives are the angry, if not just *******ish hicks/business owners/profiteering mogels/ - generally people the general populous doesn't like too much as humans.
Don't get me wrong, my mom and dad are both conservatives.. and they are good people. So if you are conservative don't take offence if you dont fall into those categories.
Hell you can call me a "wussy ass tree hugger" or something cute like that.
Now Grunt - Play nicely with the other members. Yes you are correct that Mrs. Kerry's money was the vehicle that enabled John Kerry to vie for the Democratic nomination as president. However, Mrs. Kerry's political opinions matter little more than squat when electing a President. The 1st Lady may influence the President's viewpoints, but a strong president will govern as a leader and not govern off his wife's apron strings. IMHOQuote:

Last night during the convention the democrats were hootin and hollerin about taking politics back from the RICH. LOL. I can't help but laugh at some of the things they say. Most of them have bigger fortunes than the republican party. Most of them live in the richest districs of America. LOL. I have also noticed the subtle attacks against Bush. Hell Al Gore spoke for 10 minutes in the opening comments about how much we were all duped by a rigged election. BORNING. But I listened anyway on my radio for most of the time while trying to fix a car. I am NO mechanic.
I too vote democratic in alot of local elections. I have never voted democrat in a presidential election but I have voted independent before. I never have regreted that vote. There are also alot of democrats I LIKE in congress. Non of them ever get enough momentum because the overlords keep them at bay.
