Gore hit me with 80 at one time... That was liek 3 months ago, he has written a couple tuts since then so who knows what it is at now.
That's too many for any user to have, I don't have 5,000 yet myself. I never figured people were that high up on points.
Yeah, 12k is alot but he is the top AP earner so.. Anyways, I'm on the highway to 5,000. Almost there too! :D
My comments aren't about or directed towards anybody in particular, however they are pertinent to the topic.
I don't have a problem with folks having Mega-APs. We gave the APs to them after some pretty significant posts on their part. The system works and if a troll appears or someone becomes one, he/she can be banned fairly quickly. On the flipside, if a member makes a significant contribution she/he can be rewarded as well. If we have a problem with someone with mega-AP's, in steps the Mods. Seems like a pretty balanced system to me.
So seriously, how many folks get hammered when they're not doing their share to stir the pot?
It's kinda apparent that it only happens when we throw our own manure into the mix-master. Darrr!
