Wow..it's a category 4 storm now. :( cd, if your daughters aren't out by now, they're going to have serious problems, cause the cops are about to take cover on the gulf coast, and they strongly discourage anyone from leaving after that time.
Oy, I was looking for a storm, but not quite this much of a storm.

I have a **** load of friends all over Florida, New Port Richie would be where a few live, and now I'm kind of scared. Not that I'm un-caring about Deb either, so please don't take it that way, but I'm very close to a few people there, who are like Brothers and Sisters to me, and they all live in the line of fire.Quote:

Deb, have you ever thought of moving? I try getting a few of my friends down there to live up here, and have succeeded in one of them coming here, and then all you have to worry about to this Magnitude is a Blizzard. Anyone in South east Michigan has seen one. I've had snow over my 6'1 head and temps -20 Degrees F. But it's nice!

Welp, good luck with all that. I have family in Florida. They once lost thier home because of a bad storm but they got through it. Come to Interz0ne next year, deb. As always, there is going to be good drugs and booz there.

i hear its making landfall now....i pray no harm comes to you deb...or anybody for that matter.
unless you trees are diseased or their roots cut buy putting sidewalks in you should be all right. pines have tap roots and can bend with the high winds and oaks are pretty tough...its the flying palms you have to look out for
