How often did they smoke though? That is the deciding factor in the damage done by weed. I know a guy in his 40's who has been smoking pot since his teens and he is fine... he only smokes a few times a week though, unlike some people who decide it's good to almost chain smoke and hit it a couple times a day. Everything in moderation is the key.
Many states ALREADY have legalized marijuana use statutes, for MEDICINAL purposes. Hell some even let you carry a very small amount. Here is what I think is the reason there is so much backlash and lack of prescription for people who really need it. It's American independence, and I don't mean revolution. For instance I can see John Edwards running to the victims who rob a gas station for a fix and then present this: "Judge, it's not MY fault, the hospital started my addiction, they MADE me do it." So perhaps it all comes down to the lack of responsibility that comes with freedom.
Perhaps they wouldn't be stating the Hospital got them hooked if they could legally and cheaply get MORE.
I have to wonder.
Does addiction really exist? Or do I like it so much that I just want it everyday.

No drugs here, just video games and AO :D I think I would collapse and die if they both just disappeared all of a sudden. I would be ok playing bass 24/7 for a while then my fingers would bleed and I would need something else to do. Addictions are bad, stay away from this site and Halo for xbox.
