LOL No offence taken. I suppose that is a possiblity but rather unlikely. It could be a glitch. The U.S. gov is extreemly irrate about the Cuba situation...and my opinions on ending the emargo are well known to them. So I suppose they could be punishing me. That is why I said I was paranoid.. The Trojan would be a possibility except I am getting other emails from Cuba, her emails I have received at gmail. I am not really a geek so I came here to see if I could find an answer and a soultion.
AHH..Another paranoid person like me---welcome! lol. But taken all the extreme things out(i.e. government etc). Like said before(not by me-the number guy) call or email your yah00 help. If they dish out some BS then either they don't know or the feds are on the line!?. But I think you should do the latter or wait intill someone else comes along to help you cause I'm out of ideas.
There are ways around anything. First forget the paid account and say just happen over to Yahoo in Europe, Asia, anywhere outside the US open a free acount send a test email to the wife ( congrats though getting her here will be a task). No way of knowing if you were "Bush" Wacked or not but email accounts need not only reside on American sites. Oh crap google your email and hers and see what turns up. Now I am a suspect I said email need not always be American...Ako sa Tanga ok long? :)

So you say that you can't get any emails from her? I suggest doing what Palemoon said OR I suggest that you tell her to go to some sort of anonymous proxy server that let's you do anonymous email. I suggest:

Tell her to send the email from there and see if you receive it. Since the email is coming from a totally different IP address, it might work.

I doubt that it relates directly to your situation and I think that some of the suggestions given thus far are worth a try, but as an aside the Justice Department just won a battle with the FCC to expand the scope of CALEA to include their ability to tap ISP's and VoIP.
