No. To put it into perspective, if I personally were to whip up a site and ask for help generating rainbow tables, with little to no explanation of the use these tables will be put to, I would fully expect my motivations to be openly questioned. Your lack of up front information about the project is what I am looking at as suspect here. I mean, you are just saying "hey, who wants to generate rainbow tables?". From the forum title you have on your site, it seems it is possible that you are looking to have people volunteer to provide you with said tables, which you then intend to turn around and sell?Quote:

As you haven't clearly defined your intentions for the use of these tables, I don't find it unreasonable to ask for a clarification, especially since -- as you yourself point out -- this is the internet. I didn't mean any offense, I was merely raising the point.
Your website's focus has nothing to do with my concern, and in my opinion the site does not show any association with any accountable security body. My concern is that there is no body here able to be held accountable for the use of these rainbow tables, and that this sort of thing could potentially put people who contribute at a legal risk. Have you investigated such risks? Have you provided people with a complete and thorough description of the system by which submissions would be accepted? Have you created a document detailing the intended use of these tables? I see no such information anywhere in your forums, nor did you provide it here.Quote:
