Not letting someone speak at an event is just plain f. rude. No matter who you are, slim shady included. Entertainers should appeal to fans not politicians. When they do so they become politicians and enter the realm of slime and propaganda. In essence they lose much face among their more critical listeners.

I'd bet 10:1 the Bush Campaign paid some of the washed up performers sitting in the audience to boo and hiss. Some of them haven't had a hit in a looong time, and I'd bet cocaine isn't getting any cheaper....
Or, even more probable, perhaps he promised some of them that if they did boo and hiss good 'ole John Ashcroft would help to make some of their legal problems go away. Was Michael Jackson or RKelly in the audience?
I don't think Bush has to pay anyone to boo Kerry. John Kerry has earned all the animosity he gets all by himself.
I bet Kerry-Kissasses are going to introduce conspiracy theories on every single step that Bush takes.
Art and Politics don't need to mix. Neither do Religion and Politics (quick! someone tell Jesse Jackson!) - But it was indeed most heinous of the crowd to boo Kerry's daughters. there's enough high emotions in this election where neither side has to pay anybody to get reactions although i dont believe either side is above it just that the risks of getting caught are to great.
